Anyone 12 or older needs a beach badge to access the beach before 4:30pm. Daily, weekend, and week passes are available for cash from the badge checker at the entrance to the beach. You can also buy badges online.
If you don't have beach chairs or umbrellas, they are available to rent on the beach. Several shops along Beach Ave sell beach towels.
